Movie Review: 'A Quiet Place'

A Quiet Place is definitely the best movie I've seen this year. It meets all the expectations of one who knows it's the story of a family that lives in a future, not too far from this one,where alien creatures have invaded the world and have turned it into a silent place - a quiet place -
because they are blind and attack anything that produces sound.
Although it is in the "horror" genre, A Quiet Place deserves all the praises it has been getting and even an Oscar nom for Best Original Screenplay for extraordinarily depicting a quiet world with just one family.
The family uses sign languages to
communicate - subtitles provided - but the opening tragedy steals all hearts away as much as the closing one.
A Quiet Place didn't attempt to be the usual horror flick that ends with the 'heroes standing tall' or the 'Wrong Turn' type of 'everyone dies at the end' movie.
It had the Oscar ending that leaves one major plot question unanswered and
doesn't even try to hint at what happens after the credit rolls.
However, A Quiet Place gave our
heroes an out but it's them against the world. How does it end?
I'm not a fan of horror but this is beautiful. John Krasinski is my new favorite director + actor.
Emily Blunt is my new Best Supporting Actress and the horror genre will no longer be shoved away on my watchlist.
Okiki rates it 8/10.

NBC's Timeless, DC's Legends Of Tomorrow: Two sides Of The Same Coin... for now.

The time team on both shows are immensely committed to preserving history. While Legends have done that using different plotlines each season, our friends on Timeless have been chasing an evil organization called Rittenhouse, that is bent on turning history in their favour. That summarizes the plan of every Legends' big bad. With time travel shows, having intertwined plotline shouldn't raise eyebrows. Both shows have meddled with past presidents' younger selves, history shapers and also music legends. The newest episode of Timeless(S02E06) titled "The King of Delta Blues" definitely made Legends fans nostalgic(sort of.) Rittenhouse travelled back in time to San Antonio, 1936, to stop Robert Johnson and Don Law from recording an album and the team wants to make sure the album is made. Three Shows That Shouldn't Be Cancelled.

In the past week, it was bloodshed on the small screen as both Cable and Network broadcasters decided which shows they will be bringing back for the 2018/2019 season. You can find the cancelled list of shows  here Some shows are still hanging on a thread but there are three special(sort of) cases that shouldn't be given the red card. The thing is, the studios are holding back these announcements because these shows are wrapping up their 2017/2018 seasons and they want the finale ratings to roll in for cconsideration. And also, to find a way to easily drop the announcements without massive outrage. Actually, there is no easy way to tell me my favorite show has been cancelled. Timeless Timeless got cancelled after its first season last year and fans were enraged.
