DC's Legends Of Tomorrow: Everything wrong with the second half of Season Three

Image
No intro. I'm a little pissed. I just saw the sixteenth episode and I feel it's time to talk about it. Legends of Tomorrow is by far the most entertaining DC show on air right now. With a lot of characters, it still find ways to deliver laudable episodes. But a few addition to the original team spiced up the fun and also, created a lot of discrepancies. Okay, an Intro is unavoidable. 1. Wally West The character of Kid Flash, played by Keiynan Lonsdale, was a series regular on The Flash. Star Labs felt a little bit crowded and they shipped him off to the Waverider. Good. What's not good is the twist given to the character's character(Arrgh, that's a thing, right?) Wally West is no dweeb. Ever since he stepped on the waverider, he has either tried to be the funny one or the childish one or the one who dabs to gospel rock and roll. It's a really thoughtful addition to the time team. The only problem is that Wally West 'pre Legends' is

All Female Creative Team: Jessica Jones shoots itself in the foot

The news of an all-female creative team behind the second season of the noir-drama didn't raise the roof like it should. Well, that's because it's the small screen and it's Netflix. Melissa Rosenberg, the showrunner decided to - in light of the MeToo, TimesUp and cry for more female representation around the industry - hire an all female team to craft the second season of fans-favorite, Jessica Jones. I should state early at this point that of all the Marvel's Netflix shows, JJ is my favorite. Now to real talk: When i first stumbled on the news on the show's Wikipedia page, I froze, cursed and screamed. It's less of the fact that I'm not a fan or supporter of MeToo & TimesUp (I hope this doesn't end my career before it even starts) and more of the fact that I want an impressive sophomore season that can trump Killgrave's run. I'm not saying women can't do it (the much beloved first season had a female showrunner, which is the r

GOTHAM IS EXHAUSTED

Last Week's episode titled "The Sinking Ship The Grand Applause" was the height of it all. It's just as if Gotham has no idea what to do with its characters anymore. They have reached Peak-Penguin: no more awesome ploys for him to craft. They have reached Peak-Riddler: who is certainly not smart enough anymore. They have reached Peak-Gordon and they have absolutely no idea who Bruce Wayne is anymore. One episode he is a "douchebag" who fires Alfred Pennyworth and the next episode he is Clark Kent, who is cool and willing to help and hires Alfred back. Without any major withdrawal. If he was on drugs, it wasn't shown on screen. He just decides to be bad in one episode and good in another. If our Batman to be is this indecisive, then expect a Gotham that celebrates Crime Day on a monthly basis. They have reached Peak-Selina Kyle. Since when does Catwoman become so sweet? Must we like every villain because you don't know what else to do with them. T
